Christmas Holidays is a great time for me to get into my sewing room.
I got stuck into my Some Kind of Wonderful Quilt.
I started it back in Dec 2011.
I know why I procrastinated, so many little squares.


I changed my sewing block by adding a Sewing Bag instead of the quilt blocks

Baby Quilt Completed

I've finished my Natalie Bird "All Creatures Great & Small" Quilt.


So glad I didn't give it away and kept it for my own Granddaughter who will be born next year.


Loved all the little stitcheries


My new ladder is perfect for displaying my quilts

Back to the Sewing Room

Christmas is over so time to get back into the sewing room.

Time to clean up the room first.

I found these Long Stitch Projects I finished in 1988

I've hung them back on the wall in my sewing room

 Nice to have them on display again

 I was very spoilt with this new Clock too

 And Purple thermomix bowls are perfect for me too

I had a lovely Christmas but wish it could have been slower

Special Delivery

I delivered the quilt to my sister today and she was over the moon. A few tears were shed.

A Granddaughter on the Way

My daughter and her partner (like many these days) have found out they are expecting a little girl.


She was very shy at the scan and wouldn't show her face. She was also very busy moving.
So Granny will have some sewing to get done over the Christmas Holidays

The Great Gadsby Theme

Our work Christmas Party was on last night

The venue was a restaurant called The Old Bank

So we decided to have The Great Gadsby Theme

I sent out to try and look completely different again this year

You might remember my Friday 13th Outfit last year

So blonde and short hair for this year

So many people didn't recognise me :)

A great old Baseballer. The fabric was like interfacing 

 My boss had a great outfit complete with blow up machine gun

Party Dress Up

Our work Christmas Party this year is being held at a Restaurant called The Old Bank,
so what better theme then the 20's (The Great Gadsby)
I'm going for more dressed up Downton Abbey

Afternoon Walk

I took my dog for a quick walk before more rain started to fall.  Rainbows were out

I'm not sure if everyone has had the rain, storms, thunder and lightning that we had over the weekend.

There hasn't been much rain in it but the clouds and skies have been amazing
