Thermomix Cooking

I've finally had a chance to do some cooking with my thermomix over the last couple of weekends
Started with custard (will use less cornflour next time)

Next was Ice Cream, it was SO nice

Very quick and easy Cauliflower, Potato & Bacon Soup

I made this soup again today and then HAD to try some bread or bread rolls.
Keep getting more tips and suggestions from the Recipe Community and Facebook pages

Busy Life

After a lot of investigating and asking a lot of advise, I bought myself a Thermomix.  It was delivered last weekend and I was shown how to make Vege Stock then I made Strawberry Sorbet & Pumpkin Soup.
Now I just have to go shopping for groceries before I can start making so many other meals for the family.
These gorgeous girls came to visit while her Dad was helping with our Shed.  She is my daughters friend and little Mackenzie is just 4 months old and such a happy little baby.
An early Birthday Present from our Dad was to go to our Theatre to watch Celtic Illusions.  Great Aussie show.  Love Irish Dancing, they are very fit people.

The Man Shed (Part 2)

It's slowly but surely getting built.  Roofing iron, gutter & most of the walls are now on.
We were supplied the kit with the roller door in the middle instead of at the left so now we are short some sheets of iron.
Should get finished this weekend and electricity will be connected. (Hopefully)

Then I'm hoping this will keep Hubby happy and I can get back to the sewing room :)

Productive Weekend

I missed this post back on 31/5/14
After my weekend away last week it was nice to be home this weekend.
Friday Night started with a well earned wine.
Set up my new ironing board cover my Son gave me for Mothers Day. Love the words fabric.
It was great to find these UFOs from past Girls Day In The Country projects.
I've got started on my Hatched & Patched - Peaceful Garden Stitchery. I have a few little changes to it.
A few little Stitcheries finished
Stina's Valentine Hearts

I managed to surprise the family with home cooked meals.
And even Max got a wash and haircut.
Such a lovely weekend and so nice to spend it looking after my sick Hubby and relax.
Hope everyone else had a lovely weekend too.

The Man Shed

Our recent Queens Birthday Long Weekend was not restful or relaxing, it was full on Construction of Hubby's man shed.
Construction begins and I go up in the Scissor Lift for a Bird's Eye view.
Very scary as the machine moves a lot when it's up so high.
It's a slow process but two walls and guttering were completed
Hubby has taken some extra time off work to keep working on it.  This is the front where the roller door will go.
He is very excited although things haven't gone to plan and much slower process than first thought.
We have rain forecast for the Friday and the weekend so sadly it will take a lot longer to finish.
