Middlebrook Retreat

On the weekend I had the pleasure of joining 7 ladies at Middlebrook (Hunter Valley) for a sewing retreat.

Bathurst Blog Meet 2015

Another great get together in Bathurst.

I arrived at 5:30pm Friday and finished my Merry Christmas Banner at 11:30pm

Dummy Clips

I whipped up these dummy clips for Ella. Quick and Easy

Her Mummy is very pleased, now Ella can't spit her dummy on the ground 

Some more sewing

Not only did I do some baby sewing on the weekend but I did some doggy sewing too

Max needed a new jacket to keep him warm and to stop him from scratching

Productive Long Weekend

Friday Night Sew-In started my sewing weekend off....

Saturday was spent in the sewing room putting together this Quilt Panel for Ella

Ella & Maddi came to visit so we had a little photo shoot while she was happy

Sunday was time to get my hair coloured and cut

And a beautiful day for a girls lunch with my daughter & my sons girlfriend 

Monday was time to see Grumps 

And beautiful BIG smiles for Granny

Back to reality and work tomorrow

I've started my sewing already

Got the iPad one, drink in hand and sewing machine buzzing 

New Mum Necessities

I spent Saturday with my daughter helping her feed Ella and get her settled.

We all know how hard breast feeding can be.

She's a happy little girl

Maddi is expressing and then bottle feeding her thru the night 

so she can see how much she's drinking.

Ella loves the bottle too

Even Dad can help

I noticed she needed the ever useful Shez hand towel

So on Sunday I made nursing pads

And hand towels

More baby sewing

I finished another Baby Bag and this one looks like a normal newborn will fit into it

We will wait and see. Not long now before Grandbaby arrives. Due tomorrow

I finished work early today so after taking the dog for a walk, I hit the sewing room

Time for some baby sewing before she arrives. (Less than a week to go now)

Love these little sleeping bags. I hope it's not too small.

Now it wasn't all fun and games, I did do some sewing

This is the quilt for my sister using her Husband's shirts

I love all the pockets and logo pieces

 Then onto some Grandbaby sewing 

 A big burpie to start with

 Then a lot more using scraps of flannel and polar fleece

Even enough to leave some at Granny's house :)

 This was my favourite finish - My Rosalie Quinlan Merry Christmas Swag
