Stitching update

My hexies are all finished but no time for putting the bag together yet.


Easter weekend was quiet and picked up this 2nd hand coffee table.

First time I've ever attempted chain stitch and I'm now addicted.

Last weekend when we went to Sydney we couldn't go all the way there without catching up with my Dear Friend Jenny again.
We had fish and chips down by the beach.

Afternoon tea was back at Jenny's flat and to chat about her sewing


So nice to see her again. We are planning another sewing weekend somewhere in the winter.

Upcycling

Today I'm upcycling. I don't like wearing linen shirts mainly because of the ever necessary ironing procedure beforehand.
So instead of giving them away, I've decided to cut them up and use them for stitchery fabrics.

Morning Tea in Orange


Lunch in Katoomba. A bit of a long/steep walk back to the car.

Feeling Good !!!!

Finally feeling the rewards of daily gym sessions and classes.

I've lost 5.5kg in 5 Months

YEAH !!!!

Just a few more kilos to go and then I just have to maintain it :)

I was talking to Rosie about Urban Stitches in Sydney in September 6th & 7th.

Is anyone else going in September. My friend Jenny (in Sydney) and I were thinking about it???
